Editing assessed academic work
For dissertations, theses, coursework and other assessed work, the level of editing I can provide will depend on your institution's rules on third-party proofreading and editing.
Before work begins, I may ask you to provide or identify your institution's relevant policy. This protects your authorship and academic integrity while allowing me to provide the fullest editorial support permitted.

I have substantial experience working with complex academic writing, including the detailed editorial refinement of a full doctoral thesis in sustainable urban design, which was successfully awarded a PhD.
My wider background in communications and policy-facing work, together with my training in teaching English as a foreign language, helps me look beyond grammar alone — at whether an argument is clear, logically developed and readily understood by its intended academic audience.
